Economics (English)

The Department of Economics offers specialized courses in the fields of economy, finance and banking; in addition, students have the opportunity to increase their knowledge in their areas of interest by taking interdisciplinary courses from the departments of International Relations and Social Sciences. The language of instruction is English and students are required to attend English preparatory classes.

Students in this program can specialize in sub-branches of Economics, taking courses like banking and finance, interest-free banking and Islamic finance, stock market, capital markets, international economy, public finance and economic development.

Students also have the golden opportunity of applying theoretical knowledge in a simulation of the stock market floor and an econometrics-statistics application laboratory, as well as using economic-finance analysis programs in computers.
